Maybe We Don't Get No Respect...
But at least ex-SF editors don't write long articles in the national press about how our genre is "bad for America."
Chick-Lit, I feel your pain. I mean, I'm also snickering at you behind my hand, because it's funny, but I do feel your pain.
Hurting America?? Isn't that a bit harsh? The obesity epidemic, that's hurting America... or the meth labs in the heartland... or urban decay... or grade inflation in the educational system... or air pollution... or Paris Hilton.
Next to those menaces, chick-lit is pretty insignificant. ;)
