More on Jordan
Robert Jordan/Jim Rigney has not been well-served by his New York Times or SFWA obituaries, but this write-up in the Los Angeles Times is a model of what a good obituary should do for a major figure.

I'm not sure if you're aware, but the link to that LA Times obit is for members only. I've read that particular obit - and I agree that it does do much more justice to him than the NY Times.
