- four from Tor (including two gigantic volumes of Brandon Sanderson -- I've heard good things about him, but I think I'll need more recommendations before I dive into yet another fat fantasy series; I lost the job that made me read such things, and I'm enjoying my freedom right now)
- and something I'm surprised I got but extremely happy to see: The Alphabet from A to Y With Bonus Letter Z! by Steve Martin and Roz Chast, a picture book for kids. I love books for kids, love Martin, love Chast. So I have high hopes for this one. I'll read it solo, try it on the boys, and report back sometime this week.
