Hal Duncan vs. Angelina Jolie's Mysteriously Disappearing Labia
Duncan's remarks reminds me of a certain line from Macbeth, Act 5, Scene 5.
It's the reason I quit subscribing to the feed for his blog after about a month.
Gaiman himself points to Roz Kaveney's review as coming closer to what he and Avary were after, and it seems to me that she does indeed remark on certain themes that Duncan leaves by the wayside so that he can SNARK REALLY LOUDLY!!!
