What Work For Hire Looks Like
This is all over the comics side of the Internet, but the rest of you might not have seen it -- Don Rosa, the internationally renowned and famous comics creator who worked on the Carl Barks Disney characters for twenty years -- explains why he quit. There's a fair bit of health issues and a piece of aging and burning out in the mix, but the core reason, underlying nearly everything else, is the rapacious and utterly heartless greed of the system in which he worked.
