So, this young man -- I gather he's supposed to be in his twenties -- has an erotic fantasy harem entirely made up of women old enough to be his great-grandmother? The youngest of them is Kelly, who's also been dead the longest (since 1982).
Also, please note that all of these women are dead, and have been dead since at least 2000 -- sure, we'll assume that he knows them all through old movies, but does he live entirely in old movies? (In this strip, that is sadly a possibility.)
Please, creators, remember the old rule: just because you like something, or identify with it, doesn't mean your characters should.

Oh, my, yes. It was one thing when Edda (the woman in today's strip) had a particular detailed fantasy for Humphrey Bogart in Casablanca --- it's certainly a movie, and a star, a twentysomething would plausibly like, and it was not then presented as if it were her only fantasy --- but now I think all the main characters have been presented as having pop culture fandoms that stop around 1958 at the latest.
If I'm not remembering wrong Edda even presented herself, briefly, as an incorrigible fan of Leo Gorcey and the Bowery Boys movies, which, just, no. That seems to have been forgotten after the cartoonist moved on to other stuff he likes.
I'm also reminded of some comic strip in which the dad grumbled about how when his generation was in its 20s it was quiet and hard-working and respectful and well-behaved; a commenter pointed out that the character was of the Baby Boomers, and that the character was thinking of his parents' generation.
It doesn't surprise me at all that Amos is all about the old glamorous movie stars. He's a geeky musician--I doubt he has time for any current tv/movies.
