Read in November 2018

Coming up on the end of the year, I've hit the point where I have to engage in hard-core planning for Book-A-Day to come out right. You see, this year I'm both reading a book a day and posting a review of a book every day. And I'm now 14 days ahead for posts written and an additional 9 days beyond that in books read and slotted for particular days.

So I've got a few multi-book things I still want to get through, and I'm expecting there will be a passel of posts about those in the frantic last days of the year. (Well, some sooner than that: I hope to write a big post on the Grant Morrison Doom Patrol this coming Saturday, which will go live on November 29th.)

But doing that too quickly will mean that I could overrun the read-but-not-written buffer, and leave me with a day where I can't write about anything. I'm also realizing that if I write a post a day, and I'm already 14 days ahead, Book-A-Day will inevitably run into at least mid-January unless I set up half of December with double posts.

It is a puzzlement. It's also a bizarre, entirely self-inflicted problem. And I tried to solve that problem with these books in this order...
