My company has been in its new building nearly a year now, and I've mostly gotten used to it. (Though I've moved work-spaces twice since being here.) But there is one minor thing that does still occasionally annoy me, though: my door is made of wood instead of metal.
Yes, one might think that wood is generally better than metal to make doors out of, and the doors in this office are nice, solid and thick, in a pleasant dark stain. But wood is not magnetic, and so I haven't been able to put any of my magnets (and, most importantly, my "Cartoon of the Week," which used to live on my door in the old digs) up.
And thus I am mildly unhappy at my door, because it is made of the wrong stuff.
