- on Monday, I reviewed the eighth volumes of Mike Mignola's Hellboy
and B.P.R.D.
series
- on Wednesday, I reviewed the second volume of Out of Picture
, a collection of comics by animators and illustrators connected to Blue Sky Studios
- on Thursday, I reviewed two new collections of Grendel comics -- Devil Child
and Devil Quest
- and today, my regular Manga Friday column covered the first volume of Croquis Pop
and a short-story collection called 11th Cat Special
