Happy Birthday to Me!

Since blogs, particularly this one, are the height of self-indulgence, I'll pad my post count with a brief shout-out to myself.

Hey! It's been one more year and I'm still not dead! Go, me! I am now 37, which is a singularly unimpressive age -- I'm not young any more, but not nearly old enough even for an early mid-life crisis. Still, it beats the alternative.
