Blog in Exile: Random News & Links for 6/21

The LA Times has a story about the Eaton Collection at the University of California-Riverside's library, a 110,000-volume collection of science fiction that is visited by many academics and scholars of the field. (Looks like we're settlin' down and getting respectable!)

Not a Journal has posted the table of contents of The Best of Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet, publishing in August.

A reminder: Greg Bear will appear on The Daily Show (you know, that fake news thing with Jon Stewart?) tonight -- it airs at 11 PM on Comedy Central on my side of the country; check your local listings.

The fabulous Maddy Gaiman is guest-blogging over at her dad's place.

Cherie Priest explains How to Talk to Strangers.

Irene Gallo shows off some of the pretty pictures from Tor's Winter 2008 catalog (just completed).

The Mundane SF blog searches for examples of Mundanity in the magazines -- and finds them.

Huh. When you edit here, it doesn't change what went out to LJ.

Marilee: That's because that horse has already left the barn -- as far as I know, LJ syndication only grabs a specific post once, and doesn't keep bringing it over every time it updates.
